Legalization of Documents
All official documents issued in theRepublicofSingaporecan be recognized inRussiaonly after Legalisation by our Consular Office.
Before submitting the document to us please make sure it has been legalised by the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs first.
All documents issuedby the Singapore Government Departments(eg. ACRA, IRAS, Registry of Marriage Certificates, Birth Certificates and Educational Certificates from local government schools) must bedirectly legalised by MFA in their original text (not in a “certified copy”).
Computer-generated documents eg. IRAS, ACRA documents,must be certified by the issuing authority firstbefore presenting to MFA for legalisation (please see examples of duly prepared ACRA documents – Bizfile first page, Bizfile last page, Memorandum and Articles of Association, Cerificate of Incorporation, Certificate of Good Standing).
Non-government documents (private or company documents) must be first referred to a Notary Public (any law firm offering notarial services) for notarisation and then to theSingapore Academy of Law (1 Supreme Court Lane, Level 4,Singapore178879, Tel: 63324388 / Fax: 63344940) for certification before the documents can be presented at MFA for legalisation.
Commercial documents such as Invoices, Bills of Sales, Certificates of Origin, Fumigation certificates, etcmust be certified or seen byany of the four Chambers of Commerce (International, Chinese, Indian & Malay) or theSingapore Manufacturers' Association before presenting to MFA for legalisation.
The processing time for Legalisation at our Office usually is one working day (next day collection).
Consular fee for one document is
- for Singapore and third countries applicants - 76 SGD payable at the time of submission by a «NETS» Card. Payment is non-refundable;
- for Russian applicants - 40 SGD payable at the time of submission in by a «NETS» Card. Payment is non-refundable.
