On the resumption of the issuance of private visas to foreigners – family members of Russian citizens
In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 25, 2020 No. 730-p, the ban on entry into the Russian Federation no longer applies to persons who are family members (spouses, parents, minors or disabled adult children, adoptive parents, adopted children), guardians and trustees of citizens of the Russian Federation entering the Russian Federation, provided that valid documents proving their identity and recognized by the Russian Federation in this capacity, as well as documents confirming the degree of kinship are presented.
In this regard, the Russian Visa Application Center in Singapore resumes the acceptance of documents for the issuance of joint-travel private visas. However, only ordinary private visas of an accompanying person are available so far.
Please be reminded that it is also possible for accredited or appointed staff of foreign diplomatic and consular missions, international organizations and their representations, other official representations of foreign states based in the Russian Federation, as well as their family members; drivers conducting international cargo and passenger transportation services; crews of aircraft, sea and river vessels; members of train and locomotive crews in international trains; members of official delegations; persons who need to travel in connection with the death or a serious disease of a close relative; persons permanently residing in the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as persons transiting at airports without leaving international transit zone to apply for a respective visa.
